Water Intake and Organ Weights of Red Sokoto Goats Fed Different Forms of Neem Leaves, Supplemented with a Concentrate Diet

The study evaluated the water intake and organ weights of red sokoto goats fed different forms neem (Azadirachta indica) leaves concentrate diet. experiment was carried out at smal ruminant unit Teaching Research Farm, Federal University Kashere. Sixteen (bucks) aged between 7 to 9 months with a weight range 6.8 kg 7.3 were allotted into four (4) treatments each. housed individually in pens. fresh leaves, hay, meal silage 300g/goat/day for 1, 2, 3 4 respectively; diet 125g/goat/day duration sixty- three (63) days.
